Gardaí question man after Dublin Airport pile-up

One man has been arrested after a major pile-up on the M1 near Dublin Airport that left three people injured.

One man has been arrested after a major pile-up on the M1 near Dublin Airport that left three people injured.

He is being questioned by gardaí in Santry.

Emergency services and several units of the fire brigade are still at the scene of the accident which took place shortly before 10.30am.

A section of road from the Donabate flyover to the airport exit has been closed.

A contra-flow is in place, and motorists are being warned of long delays in the area.
