Pedestrian dies in Waterford accident

A male pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in Co Waterford yesterday evening.

A male pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in Co Waterford yesterday evening.

Gardaí said the man was knocked down following a collision between a car and a tractor on the Waterford to Dunmore road at around 7pm.

His name is being withheld until all next of kin are informed.
