Ibrahimovic injury 'not serious'

Inter Milan have announced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's injury is not as serious as first feared.

Inter Milan have announced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's injury is not as serious as first feared.

The Sweden striker was injured during the friendly defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday night but the Nerazzurri have confirmed he has only severely sprained his right wrist.

Ibrahimovic is currently involved in negotiations over a move to Barcelona in a swap deal with Samuel Eto'o.

There was some bad news for Inter on Patrick Vieira's injury, which is more serious. The France midfielder has torn a ligament in his left index finger and the club will assess in the next few days whether surgery is necessary.
