Usher, who has the year’s best-selling album with the five-million selling “Confessions”, was nominated for artist of the year, R&B voice of the year, as well as best R&B song of the year for “Confessions, Pt. II.” He was also nominated in quirkier categories: “club-banger of the year” and “coolest collabo” for his No. 1 smash ”Yeah!” featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris.

Among the four awards Keys was up for included artist of the year. Other multiple nominees were Jay-Z, Kanye West and Twista. Vibe magazine focuses on urban culture and entertainment.
