Leicester scrum-half Austin Healey may miss the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Munster after sustaining a freak injury while attempting to rescue a cat, according to reports.

According to the Daily Mirror, the England international fell 20 feet from a ladder while attempting to rescue a cat.

Healey, who was due to return for Leicester this weekend, is now set to miss the match with Sale Sharks after bruising his ankles.

"You couldn't make it up," Healey told The Mirror. "Just when I get my Achilles 100% right I fall off a ladder from roof height, pretending to be a fireman trying to save a cat."

Healey, who has won 50 caps for England, has been out since December 14 with an Achilles problem and is desperate to return to earn a place on Clive Woodward's side's tour of Australia and New Zealand.
