Shamrock Rovers’ captain Trevor Molloy has pledged his future to the club insisting that he wants to remain with the Hoops for the rest of his career.

As the Hoops being the examinership process designed to save the club from bankruptcy, Molloy has insisted that he never considered leaving the club when, on occasions, wages were never paid.

Molloy said: “I don’t want to leave the club. I want to stay here for the rest of my career. I’ve been a Rovers’ fan all my life.

“It was difficult when you were not getting paid at times. But I never thought about moving on.”
