Deliberations resume in Ballymun murder trial

The jury has resumed its deliberations at the Central Criminal Court in the trial of a man and woman accused of murdering her violent partner.

The jury has resumed its deliberations at the Central Criminal Court in the trial of a man and woman accused of murdering her violent partner.

Ms Jacqui Noble (aged 38) of Knowth Court, Ballymun, Dublin and Mr Paul Hopkins (aged 24) Sillogue Road, Ballymun both deny the murder of Mr Derek Benson (aged 33) at Sandy Hill Avenue Ballymun on May 13, 2000.

Both accused have pleaded self defence.
