DiCaprio was turned down by Baywatch
David Hasselhoff has revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio once auditioned for a part as a lifeguard in Baywatch but apparently he wasn't quite what they wanted and so was shown the door.
So poor Leo had to accept rejection....accept that he wasn't ever going to don those famous red shorts and run along the beach in slowmo, muscles rippling......instead he became a million dollar earning Hollywood A-lister with a string of successes behind him!
Well, they say "Everything happens for a reason" and that must have been what Leo was thinking when he recently won the best actor award at The Golden Globes for 'The Aviator' and was eventually able to put his 'Baywatch' disappointment behind him!
