Nevin to take over as MII chair

Brendan Nevin, director of strategy and marketing with Bank of Ireland, has been elected chairman of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.

Brendan Nevin, director of strategy and marketing with Bank of Ireland, has been elected chairman of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.

Prior to joining Bank of Ireland Nevin (aged 40) worked in a variety of management roles in Ireland and overseas with eircom, Coca-Cola HBC and Baileys.

He succeeds Pat Cahill whose term of office ended this weekend.

Speaking today, Nevin said that his priority in his term of office would be to build on the momentum of the O’Driscoll Report on Industrial Strategy in advancing the cause of marketing in Ireland.

The Marketing Institute of Ireland represents 2,600 marketing professionals in the Irish economy.
