Shoppers from the Republic are reportedly swarming north of the border in the run-up to Christmas to take advantage of the favourable exchange rate between Sterling and the euro.
Reports this morning said the number of visitors to the North had almost doubled in the past year, with most taking advantage of lower prices.
The reports said thousands of people from the Republic had visited border towns like Enniskillen and Newry in recent weeks to purchase cheaper alcohol, toys and other goods.
