Galway football star Padraic Joyce and Waterford hurler Paul Flynn have been rewarded for their good form with Player of the Month gongs.
The duo helped their teams to football league and hurling league finals though both sides were beaten in the deciders.
Nevertheless, they turned in exceptional performances in the run up to the finals with Joyce standing out in Galway's two semi-final clashes with Tyrone.
The Killererin man appears to be back to his best form and will be a handful for London in the championship on May 30.
Flynn meanwhile will be back in action this Sunday in the championship against Clare just seven days after their league final loss to Galway.
Flynn helped the Decies to the league final with his accurate free taking and scored 1-11 in particular against Tipperary.
