The countdown is on to one of the last big music events of the summer.
Final preparations are underway in Co. Laois ahead of the annual Electric Picnic Festival which gets underway on Friday.
The festival will attract more than 30,000 people to the Stradbally Hall estate across the weekend, which has The Cure at the top of the bill.
The finishing touches are being put in place today at the 600 acre Stradbally Hall estate - which has been transformed - ahead of the arrival of the 30,000 festival-goers.
The three-day, multi-award winning music and arts event, which is now into its eighth year, gets underway on Friday with the campsite opening from 9am, although camper vans can get access on Thursday evening.
The wide ranging lineup will also see performance from the Killers and Elbow, while other acts taking to the stages between Friday and Sunday include Orbital, Christy Moore, Bell X1 and Ed Sheeran.
As well as music there is also a host of other events to entertain the crowds with the Body and Soul zone, the Mindfield spoken word arena, the Comedy Tent and Theatre of Food area.
