The Republic of Ireland camp are waiting to find out the extent of Jon Walters knee injury.
It's reported the Stoke striker could miss the rest of the season for his club, meaning he may not be 100 percent fit going to Euro 2016.
Walters missed the two recent friendlies against Switzerland and Slovakia with a knee injury and the Irish Daily Mail are reporting that he needs surgery to repair the injury.
The expected recovery time from the operation is six to eight weeks - which would rule him out of any further part in the Premier League run-in.
That would leave the player short of match fitness going to the European Championships in June.
Walters was a key part of Ireland's qualification campaign and would be a massive loss to Martin O'Neill's side.
