Man in hospital after serious assault in Cork
A man is recovering at University Hospital in Cork following a serious assault in the city last night.
The man, who is in his late 20's or 30's, was found shortly after 8pm last night, with serious head injuries at Sullivans Quay near the old tax office,
Gardaí are examining CCTV footage from the area and have appealed for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, to contact them.
