Gardaí in Cork are appealing for help in tracing an unknown woman who left the Mercy University Hospital last Friday morning.

Update 22:09: Gardaí say the woman in question has been located, safe and well.

Gardaí in Cork are appealing for help in tracing an unknown woman who left the Mercy University Hospital last Friday morning.

The woman left without being formally discharged at around 11.30am.

She is described as 5’6” in height with long dark hair and aged between 25 and 35.

When last seen she was wearing a knee length purple jacket, black trousers and black shoes.

Gardaí are appealing to the woman to return or make contact with the Mercy University Hospital.
