Gilmore coy on coalition plans

Labour Party Leader Eamon Gilmore said this evening that it is far too early to speculate on whether or not he will go into a coalition with Fine Gael.

Labour Party Leader Eamon Gilmore said this evening that it is far too early to speculate on whether or not he will go into a coalition with Fine Gael.

"I think it’s far too early for us to start looking at what the possible composition of the Government might be because we haven’t seen seated actually distributed yet," he said.

"So let’s see how that works out over the course of the evening and tomorrow, and we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it."
