Man injured in Dublin city shooting

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after being shot in the leg in Dublin city centre last night.

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after being shot in the leg in Dublin city centre last night.

The incident happened on City Quay at around 10pm.

The victim was taken to St James' Hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be serious.

Meanwhile, gardaí are continuing to investigate a similar shooting at the Oliver Bond Flats complex in Dublin's south inner city yesterday morning.

The victim was shot in the leg and hip after answering a knock on his door in the early hours of the morning.
