An Irish film has won a prestigious award at the 60th Cannes Film Festival in France.
Garage has been awarded the Prix Art et Essai by the International Confederation of Art House Cinemas.
The film is directed by Lenny Abrahamson, written by Mark O'Halloran and stars comedian Pat Shortt in a serious dramatic role as a small-town outcast looking for love.
This year's Palme d'Or, meanwhile, was given to Romanian director Cristian Mungiu for his film 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.
