A second sister of murdered Belfast man Robert McCartney has decided not to contest the upcoming British general election in the North.

The dead man's sisters had indicated that they might become candidates in all four Belfast constituencies as part of their campaign to bring the 33-year-old's killers to justice.

Catherine McCartney said at the weekend she would not be running, but her sister Paula was still considering doing so. However, Paula herself has now confirmed that she won't be running either.
