Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin has said the party will focus on the 20% of voters who are undecided about which way to vote in the General Election on February 25.
He said there was "a lot to play for yet", despite a new opinion poll showing support for the party had dropped by two points and was currently at 15%.
The Red C poll published in the Sunday Business Post today shows Fine Gael has gained support and is up three points to 38%, which, if repeated on polling day, would move the party closer to an overall majority.
However, Micheál Martin said the vote was not over yet, and that Fianna Fáil would be focusing on voters who had yet to make up their minds.
"Certain key constituencies…are holding up in terms of our votes and our seat target in those constituencies," he said.
"There's a lot to play for yet. I know there's about 20% undecided…and we'll be focusing very much on that segment of the electorate."
