Heavy snow leaves 3,000 without power

3,000 customers are still without power in Scotland after heavy snow blanketed much of the country.

3,000 customers are still without power in Scotland after heavy snow blanketed much of the country.

Temperatures of +23 just a week ago have become -1 today, along with 18 centimetres of snow.

The weather has also been causing problems with the lambing season in Scotland.

Farmer Martin Kennedy is in Fife and just can't get his sheep outside:

"..we lost three (lambs) this morning because of the weather and it could have been a lot worse".
