Cabinet meeting to discuss Budget cuts
Cabinet ministers will gather for a special Budget meeting later today, with one week to go before the details are unveiled.
The Economic Management Council, which consists of the Taoiseach, Tánaiste, and the Finance and Public Expenditure Ministers, has been working on the document up to this point.
The agenda for today's meeting is expected to prioritise cuts in spending, rather than ways to raise revenue.
