Patsy Palmer is in talks to star in a US drama show.

The 'Eastenders' actress - know for playing mouthy Bianca Butcher in the BBC1 soap - wants to swap the streets of Watford for Hollywood and has revealed that American TV bosses have approached her about a role.

However, the 38-year-old redhead - who is currently on maternity leave from 'Eastenders' after having baby Bertie in December - is not confident that she will get the job and expects to be back on location to reprise her role as Bianca again.

She told the News of the World: "I've got a meeting but I'm sure I won't get the job. When you see me back on 'Eastenders' you'll know I didn't!

"Instead of Hollywood, chances are I'll end up back in Borehamwood."

Palmer - who is also mum to Charley, 19, Fenton, 10 and Emilia, nine - has recently said she has "every intention" of returning to the soap but is hesitant to go back full-time because she wants to make Bertie her main priority.

She said: "I can't imagine going back full-time because I just don't want to leave him. I don't even want much time to myself! I just want to spend every minute with him."

"I love 'EastEnders' and have every intention of returning when the time is right for me and the show."
