Pop superstar Elton John has launched a limited run of crystal-encrusted iPod music players - to raise funds for his AIDS charity.
The star, 61, personally oversaw the production of 1,000 of the fittingly flamboyant devices - which also feature his signature lasered on the back.
And a percentage of the profits from the prized £410 (€460) players will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has raised over £100m (€113m) to educate and care for people living with HIV/AIDS since its inception in 1992.
A spokesman for the star said: "Elton does not usually put his name to a product but this is exactly he kind of thing he loves. It's extravagant and glamorous just like him.
"And, as everyone knows, his AIDS charity is very close to his heart."
