Gardaí are investigating a fatal car crash in Co Wexford today.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal car crash in Co Wexford today.

A woman in her 20s was fatally injured when the car she was driving and another car collided at 2pm on the R737 at Newbawn, New Ross, Co Wexford today.

The male driver of the other car was not seriously injured.

The road is closed to facilitate Garda forensic collision investigators carrying out an examination of the area.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them at New Ross Garda Station on 051 426030.
