Gardaí are questioning a man in Limerick following an attempted robbery.

Gardaí are questioning a man in Limerick following an attempted robbery.

At around 2pm a briefcase containing €10,000 was snatched from a shop on Steamboat Quay in the city.

A man was apprehended by a uniformed Garda as he was leaving the store. The man is being held at Henry Street Garda station.
