A 21-year-old man has died following a road crash in the North today.

A 21-year-old man has died following a road crash in the North today.

The victim has been named as Edward Millican from Coleraine.

He was fatally injured when the white Mini Cooper he was travelling in crashed in the Ballyhacket Lane area of Castlerock at around 1.30pm.

A 17-year-old youth was also injured in the one vehicle accident.

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
