Two men have appeared in court charged over cocaine seized in a car in Dublin valued at €140,000 euro.

Two men have appeared in court charged over cocaine seized in a car in Dublin valued at €140,000 euro.

Anthony Eya, 37, with an address at Parkview, Ballyowen Lane, Lucan and 36-year-old Charles Twesigye, The Village, Porterstown Road, Blanchardstown have been charged with drugs possession and possession for sale and supply.

Gardaí say the cocaine was found in a search of a car in Lucan on Monday and that cash was seized in a follow up search of a house.

Both men, originally from West Africa, have been remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on the 6th of September.
