Andre 3000 finds freedom in film
Outkast star Andre '3000' Benjamin found filming Four Brothers a liberating experience - as he was finally allowed to look stupid.
The Hey Ya! hitmaker was thrilled to break free from the glamorous confines of his singing persona, as he explored a variety of emotions for the crime drama.
He says: "You have to be embarrassed or look like a fool or cry.
"You have to experience and show every emotion in film but as a music entertainer, you only have to show happy or more happy, or glamorous or more glamorous.
"That's the only emotion you have to show because on this side, people don't want to see you hurt or they don't want to see you embarrassed because they build you up to be everything but that."
