The Health Service Executive has today published comprehensive information on how Ireland's 29 acute hospitals are treating their patients.
The new Healthstat programme reveals that Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar is the poorest-performing hospital in the country, followed by Cork University Hospital, University College Hospital in Galway and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
St Vincent’s in Dublin, Mallow General Hospital in Cork and the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar ranked well.
