A Lithuanian teenager is suspected of making counterfeit money using his home computer.

Police say the 17-year-old has been printing notes for more than a year - using ordinary paper and a computer programme.

They say he then sold the notes to his friends on the cheap.

Police found more than 150 20-lit notes, worth around stg£3.40 each, at the boy's home and a computer programme for making 100-lit notes, worth stg£17 each.

His parents apparently did not suspect what was going on and simply thought their son was good with the computer.
