Goals from Gary O'Neill, Mark Quigley and Sean O'Connor saw St Pat's extend their lead at the top of the Premier Division table to eight points.

O'Neill scored his first goal of the season at Richmond Park to put St Pat's in front on 21 minutes - his third strike of the campaign.

O'Connor's attempted pass to Quigley was intercepted by Sligo midfielder Conor O'Grady. But his back past to Tomislav Arcaba fell short and O'Neill showed his awareness to nip in and shoot home.

Quigley added the second on the hour mark when heading home Anto Murphy's cross.

O'Connor also scored with a header on 71 minutes to end the game as a contest.

Chris Turner got Sligo's consolation four minutes later.
