Website launched as CAO applications surge
Ireland's first ever online careers fair has just been launched by website www.smartfutures.ie.
The website runs from today until this Thursday and aims to help students with their CAO choices.
The new service comes as figures out this morning shows that so far, more than 54,000 people have applied through the CAO application to attend college this September.
That is more than 2,700 more than this time last year.
The CAO deadline is February 1.
