Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an attempted abduction in Belfast yesterday.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an attempted abduction in Belfast yesterday.

It is understood that a couple attempted to kidnap two seven-year-old girls at a park in the north of the city.

The children were approached by a man and a woman who grabbed one of them by the wrist.

However, one of the girls began to scream and the couple escaped.
