Police in the North are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in east Belfast.

Police in the North are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in east Belfast.

The device was thrown into a house at about 11pm last night.

No one was in the premises at the time.

In addition, it is thought that only minor scorch damage was caused to the residential building.
