Students urge weekend election
Trinity College students are calling on the Taoiseach to hold the upcoming general election at the weekend.
Some 3,500 postcards are being sent to Bertie Ahern from Trinity students appealing for a fair opportunity to vote.
President of the Student's Union, Averil Power, says many will be disenfranchised if the poll is held outside the weekend.
The recent abortion referendum was held on a Wednesday.
