Severe gusts hit parts of the country
Parts of the country have been lashed this afternoon by severe gusts of wind.
Met Eireann said the winds are not serious and should ease as the evening rolls on.
John Eagleton of Met Eireann said the North has been taking the brunt of the strong winds.
