Sad to hear that the shop which sold Rory Gallagher his first stratocaster has closed down.
Crowleys Music Centre made the announcement on their Facebook page over the weekend as well as posting it up on the shop front.
There was a lot of lamenting on hearing the news from Cork, especially by Rory Gallagher fans who still hold a special place for Rory.
Crowleys Music Shop is part of #Cork history, sad to hear it's going to close, used by some great musical talent including Rory Gallagher
