Gender discrimination remains the biggest single issue in the workplace, closely followed by race and disability.

Speaking at the launch of a new initiative aimed at helping employers tackle discrimination, Nora Byrne of Training Responses to address Equality and Diversity (TRED), says Irish employers must take action to address inequality in the workplace or face fines of up to €50,000.
