One man arrested after drugs haul in Dublin

A man in his 20s was arrested last night in connection with the seizure of cocaine with an estimated street value of €100,000.

A man in his 20s was arrested last night in connection with the seizure of cocaine with an estimated street value of €100,000.

He was arrested in the Kilbarrack area of Dublin following a surveillance operation as part of Operation Anvil.

The man is being detained at Clontarf garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

He can be held for up to seven days without charge.
