Petrol bombers attacked a house in north Belfast today.

Petrol bombers attacked a house in north Belfast today.

Two devices were thrown at the property in Old Park Avenue at around 1am but the occupants escaped without injury.

Police said a window was shattered and a motorcycle parked outside was damaged by fire.

Two men in dark clothing who were thought to be the attackers escaped in a red car along Cliftonville Avenue.

The Police Service said it was investigating possible motives.
