Interest rate rise less likely as Eurozone inflation falls

New Eurozone inflation figures have provided good news for Irish mortgage holders today.

Inflation in the Eurozone unexpectedly dropped in the month of July to 2.5%, down from 2.7% in June.

Economists say that it is now less likely that the European Central Bank will raise interest rates again before the end of this year.

The ECB is aiming to keep the rate of inflation in the Eurozone below 2%.
