Nando's to create 110 jobs in Dublin

The South African restaurant chain Nando's is looking for 110 staff to fill vacancies in Dublin.

The positions are being created at outlets in Blanchardstown, Liffey Valley and a third restaurant - due to open in Dun Laoghaire.

Managing Director Alan Snyman is recruiting front-of-house and kitchen staff.

He said: "In terms of the work they will be doing, they will be doing front of the house work, meeting people in the front of the restaurant, cashiering as well as grilling chicken and preparing the food."

When the jobs are filled, Nando's workforce in Ireland will exceed 380 people, bringing the total of restaurants on the island to nine - seven in the South and two in the North.

Snyman added: “We’re really excited about expanding in Ireland with the opening of two new restaurants in great locations. Finding the right site is never easy, but after exploring a number of different locations, we decided on Liffey Valley and Blanchardstown, both vibrant, busy locations with excellent footfall.

“The addition of 100 new full and part-time jobs demonstrates our commitment to Ireland and represents good news for Nando’s and the local communities we serve.”
