Aer Arann to suspend Galway services from today

Aer Arann will fly from Galway airport for the last time today, before suspending services for the winter.

Aer Arann will fly from Galway airport for the last time today, before suspending services for the winter.

The suspension of flights has resulted in negotiations with staff at the airport to reduce its workforce by 40 from 55.

The airport is now involved in significant restructuring as a result of the Aer Arann decision.

Staff were told earlier this month that the airport needed to reduce staffing levels.
