British police are recreating the moment terrorists parked a car packed with explosives in Birmingham city centre exactly a week ago.
The blast only avoided exploding because the main charge failed to go off.
It is hoped the reconstruction of the beige Audi coupe driving to the blast site will jog memories and lead to fresh clues and witnesses.
The event begins at 5.45pm with a car similar to the one used last weekend driving up Smallbrook Queensway and parking outside a camera shop.
Scores of officers will be on hand to distribute leaflets about the blast to revellers in the hunt for information.
Earlier this week, police released CCTV footage showing pedestrians and motorists passing just yards from where the detonator, placed in the Audi's boot, exploded.
Had the 40kg device completely detonated, it could have maimed and killed hundreds of people in the heart of Birmingham's theatre district.
Detectives say the Audi, with the registration E303 TOV, was seen at junction 10 of the M6 near Walsall hours before the blast.
The car, which was bought in the Walsall area on Saturday afternoon, was spotted at the motorway junction at 2.30pm.
West Midlands Police have warned motorists they will tow away any illegally parked cars in the wake of the terrorist attack.
