Munster, Leinster open Heineken Cup against English sides

Munster and Leinster have both been drawn against English opposition in the opening games of this year's Heineken Cup.

Celtic Cup holders Munster are away to Sale Sharks in Pool 1 of the competition, while Leinster face Bath at Lansdowne Road in a Pool 5 clash.

Ulster will open their Heineken Cup campaign at home to Benetton Treviso in Pool 4.

Elsewhere, defending champions Toulouse will begin their bid to retain the title against Llanelli, whom they beat twice in the group stages last season.

All fixtures will take place on the weekend beginning October 21.
