Missing woman turns up safe and well

A 24-year-old Co Roscommon woman who disappeared on Sunday morning has turned up safe and well.

A 24-year-old Co Roscommon woman who disappeared on Sunday morning has turned up safe and well.

Yesterday, gardai issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Marie Gannon, who was last seen in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim.

However, the woman turned herself in to gardai in Athlone this afternoon.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of her disappearance.
