'Strictly' entrant 'dreading' lifts

Lisa Riley worries her 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner won't be able to lift her.

The curvy actress is "dreading" doing complex moves that will see Robin Windsor have to raise her into the air because she isn't sure they will be able to execute them correctly.

She said: "I'm dreading the lifts - I am so worried Robin isn't going to be able to get me off the floor."

However, professional partner Robin insists she has nothing to worry about.

He said: "I can lift anyone, any size, so she has nothing to worry about. She is fabulous."

Lisa also admitted she fears the vicious comments of judge Craig Revel Horwood - but wouldn't think twice about hitting him if she felt he went too far with his criticisms.

She told Radio Times magazine: "I'm a bit worried about Craig because he can be vicious - but I have no qualms about knocking him out at 6 o'clock on Saturday night on BBC1!"

The former 'Emmerdale' star - who portrayed Mandy Dingle on the soap - is particularly excited about the glitzy costumes and glamorous look she will sport on the show.

She said: "It will be amazing to get pampered and get a full face of make-up and big hair done every Saturday night.

"Hopefully people will forget how I looked as Mandy Dingle."
