Dead dog gets $30,000 credit-card limit

A dead dog has been offered a credit card.

Kelly Sloan's pooch Spark passed away 10 years ago, but the canine has been sent a letter - which was addressed to Spark Sloan - asking if it would like $30,000 in credit.

Kelly said: "They’ve got the right name, the right address, and it’s a heck of a deal. She can apply online today, and I guess, get her card.

“With the economy the way it is, I can understand they’re becoming a little more lenient than they were as far as passing out credit cards.”

It comes after the company sent a number of letters to Kelly's dad after his death, despite Kelly informing the organisation that his father had passed away.
