Police in Belfast have charged a 31-year-old man with firearms and drugs offences.

Police in Belfast have charged a 31-year-old man with firearms and drugs offences.

The charges relate to a major search operation by the Organised Crime Branch detectives against a gang in north Belfast and Newtownabbey.

The man is due in court tomorrow. A man and a woman arrested yesterday have been released without charge.
